on the move when your touch screen slows you down

You may not be able to text while driving anymore but that doesn't mean that you can't text or email on the move. Whether walking, sitting on a bus or subway or even on the treadmill at the gym, our lives often require us to email on the go. That's the reason why companies started coming out with mobile devices that had the handy-dandy QWERTY attached, like the Blackberry, LG Rumour and more. These phones allowed us to send texts and emails in the same quick and easy manner that we've grown accustomed to on our laptops, only now we were able to do so literally anywhere thanks to the size of the device.

In keeping with being able to work on the move, goodies like the iPhone started to pop up as well, offering faster and easier messaging and a whole bunch of extras to make life easier, including a touch screen keyboard so you wouldn't have to deal with the extra bulk of the tactile keyboard. They managed to really slim down the design while fattening up the features which of course is awesome, right? Well, while there are plenty who think so, the number of those not quite as thrilled with their choice to get one of these devices and get rid of their old tactile screen is going up in numbers. As it turns out that tactile screen proved to be a lot handier than the touch screen for many. Maybe because we're creatures of habit or maybe because it is in fact better; the tactile keyboard is sorely missed.

Being able to email on the go is a lot easier when your eyes don't have to be focused on the screen and watching every keystroke as you try to type carefully to not miss a letter or hit too many at once. Not being able to feel the keys is proving to be more cumbersome than that keyboard that "takes up all that space", as so many people had complained about. Having to look as you type and not feeling mistakes as you go along means that you're actually communicating slower than ever before. This is not to say that you won't one day get the hang of it, but the touch screen has been out for awhile and the complaints continue to roll in from those who used to be able to email on the move without slamming into oncoming objects or people!

If you too are missing the days of being able to truly multi-task while you typed away on your mobile's tactile keyboard then it may be time to consider your options. It's hardly helpful to you to have to keep your eyes on your screen when you're trying to walk, run or move. Totally takes the mobility out of the mobile device, no? Luckily all is not lost and you can continue to enjoy the perks of your iPhone and the likes while getting back the speed and ease of typing that you miss. Check out our website for more information.
